Hwaseong Fortress

On Saturday I took the subway out to Suwon, where there is an awesome fortress.  During the Japanese occupation of Korea many of the traditional buildings were torn down to make way for more modern government buildings, hospitals, etc.  We started our visit with walking about half of the outer wall, which is a decently long hike.  We finished our trip with a visit to the palace which had displays of period clothing, armor, and daily activities.

Because why pay somebody to pick up the arrows?
